Star Valor Crafting I am a game dev myself, and love to “break games” when I play them. The game does seem to have some inconsistencies and exploits. For example, once you get the gun and “reminiscence back in time” during the tutorial… If you run over to the ammo cache to get more ammo for your gun and interact with it RIGHT BEFORE it fades to black and takes you back to the present… You will receive a lot of extra ammo for free The controls of this game is its weakest point, and probably the cause for many of the negative reviews I bet. You WILL feel the controls fighting you as you play, as they feel either unresponsive or delayed. It really is a shame, since considering how old this game is, the game itself looks great and has a cool way to tell its story. You can definitely tell the graphics are last gen, but back in 2012 when this came out, it looked amazing. Controls.. Here I have some complaints but it could also be my cheap controller’s fault (have heard same complaints from friends tho): problem is, sometimes you push a button and it doesn’t react; noticed this especially when climbing walls and having to jump to the other side, with the character stuck in position.. This is very frustratiing when you have to escape from something and timing is essential. Game is pretty short too, but that’s a pro because it would get repetitive fast enough to bore you in the end Gameplay is nice too, sometimes fast-paced, other times you can think what to do; it’s linear tho, so there’s not much space left to improvisation.
